What can you do?
Why?
We can change our society into a much nicer place. Europe has the shadow of war from Russia, USA and many other countries has rising costs of food and petrol which are from unnecessary rises and tariffs. This makes it harder to provide food for a family despite having a good job. And those without a job just living is difficult. Today we have drug barons living off addictions with their drugs harming individuals. Alcohol is freely available even though alcoholism cuts people down who would otherwise be productive.
HOW?
Wherever you are in the day just add the slogan Rewind.Be Kind. This could be on notice boards, social media, email signatures. Saying it to someone who is beginning to be angry can diffuse the situation. Put the words everywhere from your fridge to a car sticker.
WHEN?
Now. The sooner you do this the sooner we get a more peaceful place to live.
WHO?
You. Get others involved to spread the message. Using your social media we could get the message across to millions within weeks.
Rewind. Be Kind
A social movement of ONE. Dr Terry Sheridan has cumulated her life experience and knowledge into one short phrase. Perhaps you would like to share it.
The theory is that the phrase is based on the release of oxytocin. Embracing those around us, our hobbies, our family, our friends, allows Oxytocin to flood the body and kindles love in all of its gentleness to flow through the individual. Thus changing violence into harmony. Individualistic power plays into cooperation.
You may not believe in such values of respect and kindness, that's perfectly ok, but I am pretty sure you would like others to extend their kindness and respect to you, instead of offering their abuse. Some people are very slow learners and they climb up to the top of positions of power using negative ways, they actually are lonely isolated individuals who yearn for attention, thinking that attention equals love. It doesn't. And in their violent ways they kill and murder people and wipe races out, its only a small boy wanting attention and praise. We can all say to this little boy, you will have our attention once you have stopped your acts of violence.
